HSF Volunteer Crew The Green team—who focuses on environmental stability The Charity Team--works on preventing issues such as poverty, hunger, abuse, as well as targeting social justice issues both in school and around the community. Sign up at: KX202 (North) or K204 (Lakeshore) and pick up a volunteer brochure with the application on the inside. Applications can then be handed in at the HSF desk. Frequently Questions: -What are the requirements for becoming a volunteer? All Volunteer Crew members must be registered Humber students. -Can I join more than one focus? Yes! You can choose either the charity or green initiatives, or you can jump into both! -Do I need any special training? No. Any special training you require will be provided by the HSF. -What sorts of projects would I be working on? *Campus clean-up, selling Onebottles *Organizing and operating fundraising events *Our volunteers decide where they want the projects to go -Is there a dress code? Yes. All Volunteer Crew members will be provided with a t-shirt to wear while volunteering. -How many hours will be expected to volunteer? You can volunteer as little or as much as you want. You'll want to check out our incentive program; the incentives go up with the more hours you put in. How do I become a volunteer? Just fill out an application (attached to our brochure) and drop it off at the HSF office. You will be contacted for an interview within three business days.
